SITE NEWS UPDATE - 7/25/21
First, you can now reach this site at www.idahoprisonblog.org as well as at idahoprisonblog.blogspot.com.
Second, thanks to all the longtime visitors to this site - I really appreciate the thoughtful (and sometimes not so thoughtful) feedback. This is a site everyone should be comfortable visiting - for any reason - personal or professional. Please keep sending your suggestions, criticisms and other input. This is your site too.
Finally, we're adding new regular content to the site. This content will copy and present to the public emails sent to IDOC inmates over the preceding couple weeks or so. Most of these emails will include notifications of commissary items which are out of stock, messages from the Director (which are not as frequent as they once were) and JPay information. Interestingly, these emails are often not sent to IDOC staff, so they will be able to view them here - on this site - for the first time.
The emails will reflect the date stamp on the email itself, not necessarily when it was actually received by the inmate population - which may have been many days after it was sent (for some unknown reason). There may be some emails, for some reason or another that are not included in the posts, however, because the data is public (and considered public record) it will not be left out because of content, but more likely technical errors - or my error.
The content of the emails is not necessarily correct, true or relevant to the subject it is referring to and is the sole responsibility of the original author/sender of the email. Unless otherwise noted, the content of the email as printed on this site is exactly as received, though format may have been edited.

Great news we have added new ticket categories to the Amelia digital assistant to help you answer and troubleshoot even more topics and product questions. Now when you engage with text-based Amelia you can ask for help regarding the below new topics:

As a reminder, if you have questions or youre experiencing issues with your device or applications, you can click on the green Amelia button on the home screen. Your Amelia session will automatically generate a trouble ticket you will no longer use the Communications Center for these topics.
Important: All the troubleshooting steps/answers provided in the Amelia section will be listed in the trouble ticket for you to access. If your issue is fixed, you can close the ticket. If the issue is still happening or your question was not answered, the ticket will be submitted.
Keep in mind you can only use the topics available to you when engaging with Amelia. No other questions or topics will be addressed.
We hope this new digital assistant provides you with timely support and the steps needed for you to resolve certain issues.
