ISCC REOPENS IN-PERSON VISITATION - FOR NOW

In a memo posted in housing units on March 30, 2022, prisoners were advised that in-person visiting will again be allowed at the Idaho Correctional Center.

NOTE: This information pertains to the ISCC only. For information on visiting at any other facility, check the IDOC website (see links on left) or contact the visiting sergeant at the facility where your friend/loved one is incarcerated.

The document states that if you have been an approved visitor in the past but are not current,* you can use the online renewal process at: idoc.gov/content/prisons/visiting/application.

Visits must be pre-approved, registered and scheduled beforehand by visiting www.icsolutions.com

Here is some other information from the posted document:

> Visitors DO NOT need to be vaccinated.

> Temperatures will be checked when entering facility (if you're sick - even if it is a cold - don't come).

> Minors are allowed to visit** (will take preference).
- No play area will be available
Children must stay at visiting table
Clear diaper bags only
Toys and Games available for checkout

> Vending machine/food and drink available - coin or debit card only (no bills).

> Photos will be available either by photo ticket (brought to visiting by the prisoner) or from a vending machine.

> 2 visits per month maximum.

> Clothing must be conservative

Visiting reopens on Thursday, 4/7/22.

Remember to bring a CURRENT photo identification. It's also a good idea to bring a copy of your current visiting approval if you have it.

You should also know the housing assignment of the person you plan to visit, as visits are being scheduled by Housing Unit (Block).

* Based on the language used in the memo, I don't know if you can use this (online) method if you have never before been approved. It used to be that to be "current", you had to have been approved within the past calendar year.

** I would assume that children still need to be approved visitors as well.
