We wanted to reinforce how committed we are to improving your interaction with our products and services. We know youve experienced some frustrations with our services and wanted to share updates on recent issues, improvements and upcoming fixes.

A new application update on Sunday, August 29th introduced some errors/problems

Lost ability to access Drafts folder on tablets We apologize for this error that inadvertently occurred through the latest release. The Drafts Folder on tablets were reactivated on Monday, August 30th at 2:10pm EDT. If you are still missing the Drafts Folder, please submit a trouble ticket. Missing return key on the tablet keyboard, making users unable to create paragraphs An app update on Friday, September 3rd will fix this issue. On that date, once you sync your tablet to the kiosk and receive the software update the return key will reappear and allow for paragraphs.

Upcoming Fixes

Our team is diligently working on a fix that will reinstate missing Sent folders from tablets. This issue is intermittent and the fix is tentatively scheduled for deployment no later than the end of September. We know some of you are still experiencing download and usage issues regarding media such as Music and Games. Our team investigates our media products performance on a daily basis and has performed several small adjustments to ensure more titles are available and your purchased content downloads efficiently. We do anticipate more adjustments in the weeks to come that will continue to improve the performance of our system.

9/1/21 Dear JPay Customer,

We know some of you experienced issues with searching for music on your tablet, and we are happy to share that we have a fix with an updated music catalog. To ensure you have the most up-to-date music catalog, you MUST follow the below steps. If they are not followed correctly, the new updates will not appear.

1. FIRST: Manually delete all music content from your shopping cart. You can do this from your tablet or on the kiosk.

2. THEN: Login to your assigned JPay kiosk and click the Media button.

3. Connect your tablet to the kiosk and wait for the Syncing In Progress screen to appear and complete. Please do not disconnect your tablet from the kiosk during this process.

4. If you have any music items in your shopping cart, a pop-up will appear on the screen asking if you would like to complete your purchase. Please click No. If you accidentally click Yes you will get a Purchase Music Error message.

5. The Delete Music Catalog button will appear on the screen. Please click this button to remove the old catalog from your tablet.

6. After you have deleted the old catalog from your tablet, disconnect the tablet from the kiosk.

7. Reconnect the tablet to the kiosk. This time, the Download Music Catalog button will appear on the screen. Please click this button to download the new catalog to your tablet.

8. Once the download is completed, disconnect your tablet from the kiosk.

IMPORTANT: by adding the new music catalog on your tablet, you will not lose any of the previously purchased music that has already been downloaded to your tablet.
