WELCOME TO THE IDAHO PRISON BLOG!
This is the first of what I hope will be many blogs concerning the goings-on at any of the Idaho Department of Correction facilities, as well as anything that affects prisoners, their families or friends - even IDOC staff.
Soon, I will be adding some [direct] links to various websites and webpages that people both inside and out may find useful. If you have identified a source of information on a particular site or page you think might be useful to others, please submit the relevant information and URL (web address) to me using the contact information elsewhere on this page. If you find that a posted link does not function or contains an error, please notify me of this so I can get it straightened out.
This blog is in no way a business venture - nor is it a solicitation, rather, it is a repository and bulletin board of information that can be shared between anyone who has a personal, professional or even just a passing interest in the IDOC.
When you add a blog, please remember that inmates (prisoners) within the IDOC do not have access to the internet, therefore, they can not see the blog. On the other hand, there is no reason you can't copy/past the email into a Jpay email (or print out a page on paper) and send them a copy of any or all postings. Using that same method(s), there is no problem with prisoners sending their blog/posting out via Jpay and having their family/friends copy and paste the text onto this site -- remembering though that everything sent in or out via Jpay is both monitored and archived by IDOC staff.
As a courtesy, I would ask that you please date your postings within the text as there will sometimes be delays between the date the text is written and the date it actually gets posted to the site.
To start out, please send your information, blog, criticisms or anything you want posted to this site to me using any of the methods set out below and I'll get it posted. A little later on, this can change to allow anyone to post to this blog site directly.
